Creepy Dates on itch.io: the official source and file sizes
Last updated:
Hahadit's official itch.io page is the only official source. The game is listed as "name your own price", so you can download it for free or pay the developer what you like. Current builds cover Chapters 1 to 3.
Files: CreepyDates-PC at roughly 368 MB, CreepyDates-MAC at roughly 361 MB, and CreepyDates-ANDROID at roughly 388 MB. The store page lists Windows, macOS, Linux and Android support.
Downloading and installing
- Open Hahadit's official itch.io page and choose Download Now. You can enter 0 to download without paying.
- Pick the build for your device — PC, Mac or Android.
- Install it over your existing copy if you already have one. Chapters are add-ons, so your saves survive the update.
- Launch the game and set your language in Options / Opciones. The default is Spanish; English, Russian and Portuguese are available.
Hahadit also links video tutorials from the store page for installing the app and for getting it running on iPhone and iPad.
Updating for a new chapter
This is the single most common source of confusion, so to state it plainly in the developer's own terms: download the new file, install it, and everything is saved because it is just an add-on — the new chapter and the others will appear in your chapters section with your saved content.
If a chapter still shows as locked afterwards, load your most recent save rather than starting a new game. Full walkthrough on the Chapter 3 unlock page.
Browser play vs downloading
Chapter 3 is a substantially bigger build than its predecessors, and performance in a browser varies a lot with device, memory and graphics settings. If the browser version stalls, loads badly or runs poorly, the official desktop or Android download is the more reliable way to play — see which way to play suits you.
You can try the browser version from our home page, but the itch.io build is the fallback that always works.
Avoiding unofficial copies
Because the game is free and popular, mirrored APKs and "chapter 4 early access" downloads circulate. There is no Chapter 4 build — see the Chapter 4 status page — so anything offering one is not distributing this game.
Hahadit also has a bug report form linked from the store page, and a Jeff the Killer dress-up game on her itch.io profile.
