Creepy Dates Chapter 3 locked? How to unlock it

1. Re-download the current build from the official itch.io page. Chapter 3 is an add-on to the same game, not a separate product.
2. Install it. Your saves are preserved — Hahadit's wording is that everything is saved because it is just an add-on.
3. Load your latest save, not a new game.
4. Play to the end of Chapter 2. Chapter 3 starts automatically when it finishes.

The chapters section then lists the new chapter alongside the others with your saved content.

Reaching the end card is the normal handoff point, not a dead end. Load that same save rather than starting fresh, and the transition into Chapter 3 happens on its own once the chapter closes out.

Starting a new game instead is the most common reason people conclude Chapter 3 "doesn't exist" for them.

• Laughing Jack's party, thrown for your character, with the whole house in attendance.
• The decorating job — hallway, living room and basement, for Slenderman's visiting brothers. See the decorating guide.
• Spin the bottle in the basement, proposed by Jeff.
• The Slenderman summoning ritual in your own room, and the room he builds for you afterwards.
• Explicit affection and jealousy rules, stated in dialogue for the first time.
• Splendorman and Slenderman's other brothers as visiting characters.

Chapter 3 shipped in Spanish and English on day one. Russian was added afterwards in an update — Hahadit's advice to Russian players was to update the game, after which Chapter 3 appears translated. Portuguese for Chapter 3 was still with the translator at the time of writing, while earlier chapters were already done.

One release-day bug broke progression after a conversation with Laughing Jack. Hahadit fixed it within hours of release, so an up-to-date build should not hit it. The Chapter 3 devlog has her account of it.

Chapter 3 is also a larger build than its predecessors, so if browser play struggles on your device, the official PC, Mac or Android download is the more reliable route. Roughly 368 MB for PC, 361 MB for Mac and 388 MB for Android.
