Every route and character in Creepy Dates

Creepy Dates has six routes. Hahadit lists them on the game page: Jeff the Killer, Eyeless Jack, Ben Drowned, Ticci Toby, Masky and Hoodie, and Slenderman. Masky and Hoodie share one combined route rather than having one each.

More routes are planned. The developer's note on the game page is explicit that she wants to finish these six first, since she is the only person working on the game.

The six playable routes

Characters who appear but have no route

A lot of searches are for characters who are in the game but are not datable. As of Chapter 3:

Laughing Jack

A major Chapter 3 presence — he throws the party, hands you the decorating job, gives you a piece of candy, and spins the bottle on your behalf. Not a romance route, and players ask for one constantly in the itch.io comments.

Nina the Killer

Appears in person in Chapter 3 with her own room. During decorating you can talk to her: she is obsessed with Jeff, goes through Polaroids of him, can give you a Jeff plush, and will tell you his backstory if you show her the burned family photo from Jeff's room. No route.

Liu Woods

Jeff's brother. He appears in Chapter 3 in person — somewhat adversarial, helps hang garlands, tense with Jeff — and is also in the burned family photo in Jeff's room. Players regularly ask Hahadit for a Liu route; there isn't one yet. She has said new routes for secondary characters come after the main story is finished.

Clockwork (Natalie)

Appears in Chapter 3 during decorating. She is the one who actually helps, and she warns you not to trust Laughing Jack. No route.

Slenderman's brothers

The reason the house needs decorating. Splendorman and Offenderman appear in Chapter 3. Trenderman does not, despite some fan pages listing him.

Bloody Painter

Not in the game. It is one of the most requested additions in the comments, which is likely why it shows up in searches.

Which route should you play first?

There is no required order, and no route locks you out of the others across a full playthrough. Two things are worth knowing before you commit:

Ticci Toby is the one to plan for. His first encounter depends on the order you enter rooms, so it is the easiest one to accidentally miss. Read the Toby route page before your first pass through the house.
Slenderman reacts to your other relationships. Chapter 3 flags that high affection with several characters makes him possessive, so a Slenderman-focused run plays differently from a spread-out one.

Frequently asked questions

Are Masky and Hoodie separate routes?

No. They share a single combined poly route — the Masky and Hoodie route page has the details. Splitting them is one of the most common requests in the itch.io comments, but Hahadit has said she planned it that way from the beginning.

Is there a Liu Woods route in Creepy Dates?

No. Liu appears in Chapter 3 as Jeff's brother and is in the damaged family photo in Jeff's room, but he is not a playable route.

Is there a Laughing Jack route?

No. Laughing Jack has a large role in Chapter 3 — the party, the decorating job, the candy, spinning the bottle — but he is not romanceable.

Will more routes be added?

Hahadit says yes on the game page, but wants to finish the existing six first because she develops the game alone.
